Dreaming of Elephants
Dreaming of Elephants is a whimsical celebration of childhood imagination, family adventures, and the wonderful places dreams can take us. Aunt Mary and Uncle Ike enjoy coffee at the table while a mischievous bear cub joins the fun. Beneath them, a sleeping child dreams of something far more exciting—riding an elephant under the Big Top.
The colorful hats, oversized coffee cups, playful bear cub, circus ball, and wonderfully eccentric characters give the artwork a warm, humorous storybook quality. The verse beneath the image completes the tale:
“On the road with Aunt Mary and Uncle Ike,
I dreamed of riding an elephant under the Big Top!”
An original artwork by Kimm Barnes, this card captures the magic of childhood memories, quirky relatives, road trips, and dreams of grand adventures.
