Phooey to Love
Phooey to Love is a playful and mischievous look at romance—and at those moments when we’ve simply had enough of it. In a whimsical landscape of towering golden structures, crowds of people proudly wear bright red hearts, gather in pairs, and celebrate love all around. Yet not everyone appears convinced that romance is such a wonderful idea.
The many tiny characters and humorous details invite a closer look, turning the artwork into a little story about the lovers, skeptics, and brokenhearted souls who all inhabit the same world. Warm golds, bright reds, and cheerful blues keep the mood lighthearted despite its decidedly skeptical take on love.
An original artwork by Kimm Barnes, this card is perfect for the romantically challenged, happily single, recently heartbroken, or anyone who prefers a little humor with their Valentine's Day.
