Waiting for the Bus
Three people sit patiently on a bench, but they are hardly alone. A collection of dogs has gathered around them—sitting on laps, peeking from a bag, asking for attention, and quietly becoming part of the waiting crowd.
Waiting for the Bus turns an ordinary moment into a humorous observation about companionship. While the people seem occupied with their own thoughts, the dogs create a lively conversation of gestures, glances, and personalities.
Warm and gently comic, the painting celebrates the everyday pleasure of sharing our lives with animals—and the unexpected company we meet while simply waiting to go somewhere.
