Dragon Explains the Rules
A young warrior stands ready for adventure, spear and shield in hand, while an enormous green dragon looms behind him. But instead of facing each other as enemies, the two appear to have formed an unlikely partnership—and the dragon seems to be making certain the young hero understands exactly how this adventure is going to work.
Dragon Explains the Rules playfully turns the familiar hero-and-dragon story upside down. With its expressive characters, oversized dragon, and theatrical pose, the painting suggests that even the bravest hero may discover that the dragon has a few rules of his own.
