Letters to the Lily Pond
Letters to the Lily Pond
Two people drift quietly across a brilliant turquoise pond, surrounded by lily pads and delicate purple flowers. Scattered letters lie at the bottom of their small wooden boat, while a young woman reaches into the water as though sending yet another message.
Letters to the Lily Pond turns a peaceful afternoon into a small mystery. Who are the letters for? With careful inspection, we see several other letters already at the bottom of the pond. Why are the letters there? Who are they for?
Floating blossoms and gentle gestures suggest memories, wishes, or words too important to forget.
A whimsical reflection on friendship, remembrance, and the messages we send out into the world—never quite knowing where they will travel.
